Why is Koola offered through a license agreement, as opposed to franchising?
After spending a significant amount of time and money developing a franchise model, the KoolaBar development team determined that franchising was not the best model to support our programs. Like our retail placements, we needed a business model that was quick and easy to deploy. We have placed our focus on making it easy for our business partners to do business with us. The business opportunity program evidenced to be the type of business model that met our objectives.

Does KoolaBar offer protected territories?
Absolutely! Territory protection is offered per agreement. The typical agreement offers a specific geographic radius on which another Koola retail placement may not be located.

How long does it take to open a Koola retail location?
Time varies but normally we are able to get a location up and running within ten weeks of contact. Cart programs can be placed sooner. All timelines will be clearly evidenced per each agreement.

How do I get approved to be a Koola licensee?
The first step is to complete an on-line application. You will then hold follow-up conversations with the Koola Team to make certain that we have alignment on issues such as character, integrity, business acumen, communication and expectation.

Is financing available?
Koola does not provide direct financial assistance, but does have working relationships with various financial institutions to offer expedited packages for those individuals who qualify.

How do I go about selecting my site?
Koola will provide some site guidelines and assistance with location. You may also have the opportunity to work with a developer in your specific market. The goal is locate high foot-traffic locales with good visibility and access. Once a location is identified, you will negotiate a local leasing professional to secure a lease for your Koola placement.

What kind of support do I receive to get my Koola business set-up?
The Koola programs have been constructed as true turn-key systems. For example, Koola Kiosk are shipped to site and set-up by a licensed contractor. All materials necessary for approval at the local level are provided, as is a training DVD. Our goal is to make the deployment of our programs easy.
